ABOUT HAPPY BINS · VACAVILLE, CALIFORNIA
Built by a family.
Run like a professional operation.
We’re Brittany and Justin Robinson. We started Happy Bins to bring a service we valued to the community we now call home. We’ve been earning our neighbors’ trust, one route at a time, ever since.

01 / WHERE IT STARTED
First, we were
the customers.
We used professional bin cleaning in Rapid City, South Dakota, while Justin was stationed at Ellsworth AFB. We knew its value firsthand.
After moving to Travis AFB and Vacaville, we couldn’t find a comparable local service. On a family walk to school one trash day, Eve passed a foul-smelling bin, grabbed her nose and waved away the smell.
“Oooh, stinky.”
We laughed—and recognized a real local need. We called our former South Dakota provider. They happened to be preparing to sell their operation and equipment.
We researched the industry, manufacturers and startup costs. New equipment meant six figures; used equipment gave us a practical way forward.

A PRACTICAL START. A REAL RESPONSE.
Booked before the first route rolled out.
We opened prebooking in late 2021, and by our January 1 launch, the first month was already full. Our neighbors had shown us that the need was real.
02 / THEN, NOW & WHAT COMES NEXT
Growing together.
Now in our fifth year.
Same family. Same values. A lot has changed.
The routes have grown, the equipment has evolved, and so have we.

THE BEGINNING
A family, a trailer,
and a booked calendar.
Residential bin cleaning was our starting point. This is the family that started it together, beside the equipment that made it possible.
The routes would grow. The kids would grow. Taking care of people would stay at the center of the business.
Same family.
A new chapter.
The recreated family photo will go here—with our current uniforms and equipment, in a familiar composition.
2026 family photograph still to come.TODAY
More capability.
The same personal care.
Residential, Commercial and Concierge services, with hot-water pressure washing, powered handling and more mature route systems.
The equipment and responsibilities have changed. The family behind the business—and the standard we work toward—haven’t.
Showing our 2022 family photograph. The recreated 2026 family photo is still to come.
03 / THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE IT WORK
Two owners.
A shared standard.

CO-OWNER & PRESIDENT
Brittany Robinson
Brittany keeps the business connected to the people it serves. She leads customer communication, scheduling, billing, bookkeeping and follow-up, alongside route planning, operating decisions and field work.
She remembers the details: the customer, the family, the circumstances behind a request. That personal attention makes a practical service feel like doing business with someone who knows you.
She has been beside Justin since his second year in the military, through every move and into this business. Happy Bins’ success is every bit hers.

CO-OWNER & VICE PRESIDENT
Justin Robinson
Justin’s more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force included aircraft maintenance and logistics across the B-1B, KC-10 and KC-135, four years as a Military Training Leader, four years as a B-1B maintenance instructor, and Schoolhouse Superintendent experience.
Learn it, understand it, teach it, improve it. That mindset shapes equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, training and process development at Happy Bins. It connects system understanding with practical engineering, useful upgrades, route planning and cost control—keeping equipment ready while continually improving how the work gets done.
He handles estimates, marketing, field work, maintenance and logistics, as well as social media, web design, engineering and equipment improvements. The goal is always practical: keep the operation ready and do the job well.
04 / FAMILY-OPERATED, LITERALLY
Responsibility is
something you learn
by doing.
Our children take part in age-appropriate tasks outside school, and they’re paid for real work. It’s a way to teach responsibility, contribution, respect for customers’ property and the value of earned money.
As they’re ready, the older children take on more responsibility—helping pull and return bins on Concierge routes and assisting with cleaning and maintenance tasks around the hopper. The younger ones sometimes help return freshly cleaned bins to customers’ homes, handling only clean bins.
It’s one of the small, everyday ways a family business feels personal.
05 / THE WORK BEHIND THE NAME
Warm people.
Serious equipment.
There’s a real process behind a clean bin: removing buildup, scrubbing and scraping where needed, and applying hot-water cleaning with care.

200°F+ hot-water capability
Equipment capability matched to the surface and the job.
Controlled wastewater handling
Recovery and handling planned around site conditions.
Powered bin handling
Lifting equipment supports a consistent cleaning process.
Routes, maintenance & broader service
Residential, Commercial and Concierge work backed by deliberate routing, equipment care and practical engineering.
06 / HOW WE DO BUSINESS
People, not account numbers.
“We are not the only option,
but we try to be the best option.”
Our word matters.
We want the kind of relationship where people can take us at our word and do business on a handshake. Honest communication and hard work are how we try to earn it.
Come back because you want to.
For ordinary cleaning services, our approach is to earn repeat business, not trap people. Life changes; customers pause or cancel. Many choose to return later, and that means a lot to us.
Confidence comes from the work.
For standard cleaning work, we’ve historically preferred to earn the customer’s confidence before expecting payment. Concierge requires advance payment; each service’s terms still apply.
We’re proudest of the relationships we’ve built. We want you to feel comfortable inviting us onto your property, confident in the work, and good about the people you’re supporting.
YOUR NEIGHBORS. READY TO HELP.
Let’s make your next
trash day a little happier.
Find the service that fits your home or property.
